Cash Robberies

Dear Community,
Over the past month or so there has been a dramatic increase in the number of armed robberies where the victims are followed home from the bank after having drawn rather large volumes of cash.  These amounts vary from R5000 to R30 000.  Victims are followed to their destination where gangs of up to 6 armed individuals hold them up and rob them of their cash.  These crimes are occurring all over Johannesburg and Sunninghill has had two residents, one in a vehicle and one on foot robbed and a building contractor followed to the site where he was performing renovations where he was robbed. Fun in the sun at Sunninghill Village Shopping Centre

Sunninghill Village Shopping centre hosted a fun day for the community on Sunday the 10th of July.  There was plenty to do from side walk sales to fun runs to loads of inflatables for the kids.  Well done to all, this by all appearances was a great success. Read more ›
