Sunninghill assists the Avril Elizabeth Home

The Avril Elizabeth is currently home to 147 permanent residents and provides day care to 23. All residents and day care attendees are intellectually disabled, many with a physical disability. Twenty-four hour monitoring and care is provided to the residents who range in age from 4 years to 72 years. The main buildings house children and those with severe handicaps and the five cottages, each with house-parents, are home to people whose handicaps are less severe.

Sunninghill Community assists this worthwhile charity where we can and we encourage all our residents and businesses to do so too.  You may make donations by placing food parcels in the bins provided at the Sunninghill Superspar in the Sunninghill Village Shopping centre.  Toys, cloths etc can also be dropped off at our office, first floor, Sunninghill Village Shopping centre, just above the ATM’s.  Our office is open Monday to Friday from 08h00 until 13h00 and can be contacted on (011) 234-3888.
